WALK NOT BY SIGHT, BUT BY FAITH

I was given a book titled "Faith Titbits", authored by Bro Hsu quite some time ago. I've never read it until recently..... This book has been a great blessing for me and now, I would like to share it with people who might have stumbled across my site.

There are a total of 38 chapters. I will attempt to put each chapter up everyday and the complete set should hopefully be on the web by Christmas 2000. In faith, we go forward.

Forward

Unless a mas has faith, he will not receive God's pleasure. To come before God, he must believe that there is God, and to accept that he rewards those who seek him. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. The ancients in the past had acquired excellent attestations evidenced by faith. The Lord Jesus ever said, "He that believes in the son, has eternal life, he that believes not in the son has not eternal life." Whe he arose from death, he ever said to Thomas, "Because you have not seen me, you have believed." Thus we can't overemphasise how important and precious is a man's faith towards God in his life time. If born again believers are to excercise faith continually, they will surely experience the reality of faith. However, prior to excercising faith, one must know what faith is and to discern the man aspects of faith correctly, so that it will be realised and not go awry.

May God grant grace and blessing to every reader of this booklet and we pray earnestly for the realisation of such blessings.

Lord, Make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, FAITH; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; Where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek; to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; ...it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; ...and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
