Faith is not concern with the way ahead, be it crooked or straight, rough or level, easy or difficult to traverse. Faith is trusting God to know all. Regarding heavenly walk, there is certainly no lack of ample provision for support and care, timely help, spiritual manna and living water. However we must continuously return to the Spirit to have intimacy with the Lord (that is, to come before the throne of mercy), and to have fellowship regularly with the truly born again believers, caring for one another in love and living a normal church life in one spirit. For all the riches of God abide in Christ. The church is the body of Christ and is also the house of God and we are members of the body and also children of the house of God. The true and living triune God is also our heavenly father our saviour. The great love with which he loves us never changes. The perfect salvation that he has accomplished will surely save us to the end. Therefore, let us forget the past and pursue the future to gain all the riches of God in Christ. However, if we are to neglect and not respect the precious salvation that we have received and do not pursue spiritual growth earnestly, it will not only undermine our faith, but all that is derived from God's grace and blessings will be difficult to be fulfilled in our life. How pitiful it is to have gained and lost . |
