Faith frets not over daily provision nor the future, but trusts that the God who has saved us, will surely care and feed us. Since He cares for the fowls of the air and grasses of the field, He will care more so for us who are His. Will a mother forget her suckling child and even if she does, God will not forget us. In regards to God, we are not to cherish a vague notion of His trustworthiness, but to avouch that he is altogether trustworthy due to the fact that he died and resurrected for us in Christ. He saves us according to His purpose and grace, and summons is according to His Holy calling. We must surrender our future to the sovereign God who rules over all things. He is a good shepherd. He will surely provide for us throughout our life. No one can pluck us out of His hand and nothing can separate us from the love of Christ. In life's encountering, what He permits to come upon us, be it gain or loss, when accepted submissively, will surely profit us. He has not withheld and goodness from those who trust and fear Him. We must not forget to always seek His kingdom and righteousness and, whatever is needed, He will surely provide for us. Indeed, all who fear Him will surely lack nothing. |
