Faith is to believe. The heart that knows how to praise and give thanks is forever joyful. To murmur , to lament instead of praising, does not please God and provides no rest. Therefore, Gods people must exercise daily to offer thanks as sacrifice to God and to always give praise unceasingly. To give thanks in all things, for only the God of love deserves everlasting praise but all and worship on ones knees. Thanksgiving and praising keep Satan afar from one but murmuring and mourning give him ground. Sometimes, thanksgiving and praising enable one to see Gods miracles but murmuring angers God. We often praise God for his grace but we must also thank him for the trials because they are but blessings in disguise. A thankful spirit uplifts and quickens one. A grieving heard depresses one. The wise praises more and murmurs less is always joyful.
