Faith is to believe. God is the God of love, but is not to be mocked. Whosoever has received his grace, must love him and also fear him. When men truly love him, they will be greatly loved by him and he will also manifest himself to them. For those who fear him, God will draw nigh to them and will continuously care for, preserve and bless them and they will not be lacking in any good things. But, for those who have received salvation freely and tasted the Lords love, and still go on loving the world and not the Lord, mocking and not fearing God, Paul remarked such people deserved to be cursed and to suffer great loss. Therefore, how wonderful and blessed it is for believers who are discerning, to truly treasure the salvation so received and to gladly love and fear God and abide in his grace all the days of their life. |
