Faith is to believe. Unless a man has faith he can gain nothing from God. It is only by true faith can man inherit the perfect salvation and all riches that God has accomplished in Christ. Faith enables man to be delivered from death to enter into life, to receive grace and blessings, to be exalted in spirit, to overcome and be victorious. When faith wavers, the total person is enfeebled. One needs to be vigilant to guard against doubting, which is the snare to faith. Suffering is often the cradle of faith that can beget faith. An all top smooth sailing, on the other hand, can stunt the growth of faith. Time is the tester of faith whereas patience shows forth faith. He who is true to faith is truly blessed. As it is ever said., "With faith, even poverty becomes riches, but without it, even riches becomes poverty." Thus we see how precious faith is. |
