Faith is to believe. God delights in burnt offering and peace offering but he delights more in those who obey his commandments. To obey is better than sacrifice and to submit is better than the fat of rams. We know that faith is indispensable for salvation by grace and in entering the door of grace. Likewise, being obedient and submitting is a delight to God and a condition to receive more grace and spiritual growth. To obey is not to follow blindly and opinion, and to insist on Gods will. To God forever say "yes" and to that which foes against Gods will, forever say "no". By faith, we are ready to accept what God has appointed and destined through circumstances and are happy to follow his guidance and leading in the spirit Blessed are such believers, a delight to both God and man. |
