Faith is to believe. If man does not have Christs indwelling spirit, he does not belong to Christ. A diligent believer in the course of his spiritual pursuit, when confronted with anothers furious anger, can still stay calm in the spirit without being upset nor provoked to retaliate but pray for the opponent, such is a display of spiritual growth and also fruits of the spirit of love, patience, gentleness and meekness. The heart is not haughty nor the eye with lofty-look, nor tending great but imponderable ventures, nor unseemly self-assertive, nor being rash, such is the posture and conduct of a God fearing believer. The stiff-necked that goes his own way, stubborn ad impulsive in conduct, forgoes the privilege of Gods supreme leading. The reality of a normal Christian, is to be born again through the Holy Spirit as its basis, to let the Holy Spirit be his Lord in all things, to be guided by the Holy Spirit, not letting the Holy Spirit be grieved, denying oneself continuously and living for Christ and, bearing much fruits of the spirit in order to glorify God. |
